The Poupart Group has reached an agreement to purchase the entire issued share capital of Norton Folgate Marketing Ltd, the UK’s leading specialist cherry importer and distributor.
It is the intention of the parties to complete this purchase, subject to contract, on October 31, 2007.
Until that date, Poupart Group told freshinfo that no further information about this acquisition will be released.
Established in 1895, Poupart Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Argent Group Europe Ltd, one of the largest privately owned food and food-related groups in the country.
