Exosect, a leading provider of intelligent pest management solutions, has announced that it has responded to a 100 per cent increase in demand for Exosex CM from South African distributor Terason, with the appointment of dedicated sales development manager for the region, Mark Batt.

“Terason is a market leader in the provision of crop solutions to the agricultural industry and the technology Exosect brings to the table with Exosex CM, is another helpful tool in providing integrated crop solutions to a very demanding market. We are delighted that Mark has joined Exosect and look forward to working with him to support the product in South Africa,” said Dirk Van Eeden, business manager (crop solutions) at Terason.

Before joining Exosect, Batt was at the English fruit marketing company Norman Collett Ltd and responsible for the quality assurance on a yearly throughput of 160,000 tonnes of apples and pears for companies such as Tesco, Somerfield and The Co-op, dealing with both supermarkets and grower requirements. Prior to this he has worked with the largest farming operation in the UK Co-op Farmcare, dealing with growth data, nutrient analysis and quality issues during harvesting.
