The volume of Kanzi apple production has increased, according to FruitmastersGroep at Fruit Logistica this year. The co-operation of growers is now ready to bring more Kanzi apples into the market - along with a new selection of six fresh fruit juices.
“Usually the Kanzi apple season finishes in March, but it looks like it will continue throughout April this year,” said Jeroen Rooders of Fruitmasters Groep. “It depends on demand, but people are generally very enthusiastic and I believe demand will continue to go up.”
The FruitmastersGroep is currently launching a selection of juices named True into the UK market. The flavours include apple; kiwifruit and apple; raspberry, pear and apple; and strawberry and orange. The fresh fruit mixes are produced using a pressure method technology, which means that the juice remains fresh for up to 14 days.
