Hiroshi Kawamura has been appointed the new ceo of LCL Sweden AB with immediate effect.

Kawamura replaces Ole Schack Petersen following the latter’s resignation.

Kawamura has long experience in a wide range of shipping and business fields, from liner logistics to tramper, within the NYK organisation.

LCL is a specialist provider of logistics services to the perishable goods industry, offering multi-modal transport solutions to cargo owners at origin or destination.

Mikio Nakamura, LCL Sweden AB chairman, said: “I am convinced that Mr Kawamura will continue to let LCL grow as one of the leading providers of logistic services for perishables. With a global network of offices and a common chain management process we are where our clients need us.
