A man appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today charged with the murder of fruit delivery driver Brett Carpenter.
Lee Bevan, 34, of London Road, Portsmouth, is accused of murdering Carpenter, who was found dead in the city’s Fratton area last Tuesday, according to the Southern Daily Echo.
A 38-year-old-man and a 35-year-old woman also arrested in connection with Carpenter’s death have been released on bail until January 13, said a police spokesman.
