Mustafa Çalık anticipates an impressive 2009 edition of the event

The third edition of Anfaş Fresh Antalya Exhibition, which opened this week, is set to attract thousands of international visitors from 19 different countries with numerous new initiatives throughout the three-day event.

Some 68 companies from 19 countries have announced bilateral meetings at the exhibition in Turkey which runs from March 19-21.

Anfaş chairman of the board of directors, Mustafa çalık, said: “Many international companies are participating in Anfaş Fresh Antalya Exhibition, mainly from Italy, Poland, France, Germany, Holland, Egypt, Cyprus and Chile, in addition to visitors coming from 17 countries including Europe, the Middle East and the Balkans. Moreover, a number of country representatives, chairmen and presidents of associations will participate.”

Server Seçer, Anfaş vice-president, added: "[The event] will also present a number of scientific activities during the two-day conference, as it will host the speakers from GlobalGAP, Ecas, Antalya directorate of ministry of agriculture, universities, exporter unions and Hasad magazine. It will continue to offer value-added opportunities to leading manufacturers and new ventures to explore Turkey. In addition, the conference will open doors for eminent speakers to share their expertise with participants and visitors."

Many see the event as an opportunity to expand in Turkey and overseas markets through interacting and meeting with new companies, wholesalers and institutions from various parts of the world, and building relationships and strategic partnerships with them.
