The Signatures range from McCain is set to boost foodservice menus with two new products.
The new options, Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper Wedges and Caramelised Onion & Thyme Dice, offer premium additions to any menu and will be available to caterers across the UK.
The new Signatures products, which can be either deep fried or oven cooked, give caterers more flexibility with their menus.
The range aims to enhance the offer at pubs, restaurants and hotels by increasing profit opportunity by being able to sell at a premium.
Adrian Greaves, McCain Foodservice associate director, said: “These are fantastic new products developed with the needs of caterers and the desires of their customers in mind. McCain Signatures’ recent consumer survey shows that nearly half of respondents are frustrated with a lack of variety when eating out. We hope to address this by offering caterers versatility when creating dishes.”
The range already includes Brewer’s Ridges, a chunky ridge-cut potato in a beer batter and Rosti, for which the potato is grated, seasoned and formed into round cakes.
