The aubergines are the second Good Natured launch this year

The Good Natured range is adding another string to its bow with the introduction of aubergines.

Good Natured’s second launch in 2010, following the introduction of Good Natured Living Herbs in February, will increase the pesticide-residue-free range.

The line is being promoted in accordance with the Good Natured brand philosophy of “grown in tune with Mother Nature, free from pesticide residue”.

Angus Soft Fruits owns the brand, which is presented in environment-aware packaging or in this case, with no packaging at all as a sticker will differentiate Good Natured aubergines from the standard offer.

Lochy Porter, managing director of Good Natured, said: “Adding the aubergine to our offer is a step further in our aim of removing pesticide residues from the fresh produce food chain. We are delighted at how the aubergine grew in the unique production techniques we use as part of the Good Natured protocol, and believe it will be positively received by consumers.”

The Good Natured range also includes strawberries, raspberries and blueberries as well as loose tomatoes, vine tomatoes, baby plum tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and potatoes.
