The Global Food Safety Initiative is hosting its first focus day for Latin America on 2 September in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Event organisers are expecting 300 decision-makers from the food industry in Latin America.

Speakers include Mariano Lozano, president of Danone, Brazil, Herve Gomichon, group quality director at Carrefour in France, Kevin Swoffer, director of KPS resources and GFSI technical working groups in the UK and Frank Yiannas, VP of food safety and health at Walmart.

The programme also includes a panel discussion with GFSI recognised scheme owners including BRC and GlobalGAP.
