Egyptian export conference set for London

A free event with the objective of increasing Egyptian and British fresh produce business opportunities will be heading to London on 17 October.

Jointly hosted by the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce, Egyptian Agricultural Export Council and Fresh Produce Exporters Advisory Service, 21 Egyptian fresh produce export businesses will be attending.

A statement from the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce said: "The purpose of this free business to business event is to introduce these businesses to UK importers with a view to developing new trading relationships.

"The Egyptian exporters will also be visiting Western International Market, the East Malling Research Station and the National Fruit Show as part of a three day trade mission to the UK."

The event will take place at the Army and Navy Club in Pall Mall from 10 am on 17 October.
