National trust potatoes

Potato packer E.Park & Sons has revamped the packaging of the national trust Potatoes in a bid to stand out from the “dull potato fixture”.

The national trust logo remains at the centre of the new design, which includes richer colours and an “enticing” picture of fluffy, crispy roast potatoes.

Northern firm E. Park & Sons, which are the sole licensees for the national trust potato brand, said it hopes the new packaging will maintain the national trust’s heritage, while also bringing a modern twist to the brand.

The potatoes, grown on national trust land by around 2,000 tenant farmers, are LEAF marque and Red Tractor registered. The 1.5kg and 2kg packs are available in Asda, The Co-operative, Nisa, Aldi and Booths.
