Bakkavor Foods has grown its pre-tax profit and turnover in the UK for the most recent financial year.
The firm, a provider of fresh prepared produce to supermarkets, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda, most of whom sell the products under their own labels, saw turnover go from £1.304 billion in 2012, to £1.362bn in the year ending 28 December 2013.
Bakkavor’s pre-tax profit, meanwhile, went from £52.9m in 2012 to £54.9m in 2013, according to its latest accounts, posted on Companies House.
