Denton Nisa Local stores

Nisa has opened a new state-of-the-art 'Store Of The Future 2' store on the outskirts of Manchester city centre.

Experienced retailers Dev Parekh, Jagmail Singh and Minesh Dhokia teamed together to open the modern 3,000 sq ft Nisa Local - the size of a small supermarket - in Denton.

It was created under Nisa’s supermarket format, which was carefully shaped by consumer research examining shopper missions by location and demographics.

Co-director, Dev Parekh, said: “The store looks absolutely fantastic and we are so pleased with the end results. It took just a few months to transform what was a former restaurant and it has been designed with the customer in mind, making it easier for them to navigate around and for us to maximise our profits in every square foot.

“The launch was very successful with many customers impressed with not only how the store looks but also our unbeatable promotions and Nisa’s award-winning own-label range Heritage- it’s proving very popular with everyone.”

If the partnership continues to be a success, there are plans in the pipeline to open another store in the surrounding Manchester area under the Nisa Local fascia.
