Michel Roux Jnr will help develop recipes for the RNLI fish supper

Potato supplier Albert Bartlett is partnering with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in its annual Fish Supper fundraising campaign.

Taking place between 14-16 October, the campaign encourages households to host a fish-themed supper and raise funds for the RNLI. Albert Bartlett has enlisted the support of its brand ambassadors Michelin chefs Michel Roux Jr and Andrew Fairlie, and ITV health cook Sally Bee, to develop fish supper recipes and help promote the event. The menu can be as simple as fish finger sandwiches, a fancy lobster thermidor or a warming fish pie, Albert Bartlett said.

Last year, RNLI volunteer crewmembers missed 7,000 evening meals with loved ones, to brave cold, unpredictable and often dangerous conditions at sea and along rivers.
