Leading wholesaler Premier Fruits has acquired catering supplier Tastables of Brighton.
Tastables manager Mark Stables will continue to head up the business, which will be renamed as Premier Fruits Tastables.
The south coast firm was previously owned by New Covent Garden Market's First Choice Produce, after being bought in December 2015, and has a long history of supplying Brighton caterers for over 50 years.
Stables said: 'I am extremely happy that Premier Fruits are now involved and to have that support, backing and knowledge from them. We're all very much looking forward to the future and growing the business together. It's given the business a real lift.'
A statement from Premier Fruits said the business is a “natural fit into the Premier Fruits Family”. “We look forward to growing this business to be Brighton and the surrounding areas Premier Catering Supplier,” the company said.
