Delegates at this year’s FPJ Live will have the opportunity to participate in a unique marketing masterclass, learning from three branding and marketing experts about the phenomenon of Customer 4.0.

The interactive experience, which takes place at The Belfry on 4 May, will be run by Ben Towers, the innovative 18-year old entrepreneur and director of Towers Design, alongside branding specialists Tunde Daczo of Storm Strategy and Roger Williams of Intelligent Linking.

Towers is a multi-award winning businessman and speaker who has been described by Richard Branson as “one of the UKs most exciting entrepreneurs”. At only 18 years old he runs a successful marketing agency, working with leading brands all over the world to engage them with the next generation via social media and effective campaigns. Towers was named by The Times at the top of its Super Teen Power List in the world.

FPJ columnist Tunde Daczo is an expert on b2b marketing in fresh produce, having worked for a number of years in procurement at Capespan. She now runs her own business improvement agency, and is also a business mentor for The Kent Foundation.

Roger Williams runs Intelligent Linking, which helps businesses achieve profitable growth by gaining a new perspective on and engaging with both new and existing customers.

“We can all relate to the fact that our behaviour as customers has radically changed in the last 10 years,” says Daczo. “We make more informed decisions, take advice from complete strangers, pay less attention to advertising, but are constantly exposed to viral trends. We are fundamentally less loyal and more ‘goal’ oriented and our expectation of service is defined by our ‘collective’ knowledge of the brand, not what the marketers say.

“Welcome to the world of Customer 4.0, where customers lead change in markets. This special marketing masterclass will help you understand Customer 4.0, the implications for fresh produce and the actions your organisation needs to take to survive and prosper.”
