There is still time to register for next week’s UK Fruit & Vegetable Congress (FPJ Live), with some of the biggest issues facing the trade up for discussion.

Leading speakers from major suppliers and retailers to caterers and trade organisations will give their views on politics, how to succeed in the current market, overcoming the challenges of Brexit, supply chain relations and marketing.

Speakers and panellists include NFU president Meurig Raymond, Fiona Clayton from the Co-op, Hello Fresh’s Amy Lance, Fresca chairman Chris Mack, Bidfresh chief executive Stephen Oswald, 18-year-old tech entrepreneur Ben Towers, Borough Market MD Darren Henaghan and many more.

The event takes place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on Thursday 4 May, with a complimentary beer-and-burger style get together in the Ryder Room the evening before. The conference itself will combine presentations, video, on-stage interviews and mobile interactivity in a fresh format that keeps delegates at the heart of the debate.

FPJ Live offers incredible value, and is substantially more affordable than comparable events such as the London Produce Show or Oxford Farming Conference. What’s more, the whole programme is tailored specifically towards the topics that matter to today’s fresh produce industry. Savings of 10% are available for groups of two or more.

FPJ editor Michael Barker said: “We’re looking forward to a really great event next week. We’ll be discussing some huge issues at a time of significant change and uncertainty within the industry, as well as celebrating success stories and looking at what it takes to be the best in the current market.

“With plenty of social elements and opportunities to make new contacts, I’d urge you to sign up now and come and take part in what should be a fascinating and enjoyable day.”
