The board of directors of Fresh Del Monte Produce has announced that Hani El-Naffy has informed them of his intention to retire from the company's board of directors.
According to the fresh produce giant, El-Naffy will leave at the end of his current term as director, which expires on 2 May 2018.
El-Naffy assumed his responsibilities on Fresh Del Monte's board in August 1996.
The company confirmed that El-Naffy's decision to retire was not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the company.
