There is one week to go to get your entries in for the 2018 UK Fruit & Vegetable Awards.
The UK Fruit & Vegetable Awards are the industry-voted awards recognising excellence in the fresh produce sector. Winners will be selected by FPJ readers, with trophies handed out at the Awards Social on the eve of FPJ Live on 8 October at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
Categories include Initiative in Growing or R&D; Charitable Initiative; Product or Packaging Innovation; The Sustainability Award; Marketing or Digital Initiative; Wholesale/Catering Supplier of the Year; Best Retail Concept; Fresh Produce Grower/Supplier of the Year; Fresh Produce Retailer of the Year; Unsung Hero; and Young Person of the Year. A special Lifetime Achievement award will also be nominated by journalists at the Fresh Produce Journal.
Entry is free and simple, requiring only 250 words plus a picture submitted online at www.fpjlive.com/awards.
FPJ editor Michael Barker said: 'We've already had lots of brilliant entries for this year's awards, but there's still time to get yours in and have a shot at winning one of these fantastic awards.
'There's a wide range of categories with something for everyone, and it's a great chance to give your staff some well-deserved public recognition for their great work over the last year.'
The awards close for entries on Thursday 12th July.
