Shropshire-based breeder and grower Jupiter Group has been named best UK fresh produce company at Lux Life Magazine’s Food & Drink Awards.
The awards reward the best eateries, food producers and manufacturers in the UK and are judged by “specialist researchers” at the luxury lifestyle publication.
The Lux Life award follows Jupiter being named one of the fastest-growing UK firms by international sales in the Sunday Times International Track 200 earlier this year.
The company also recently begancultivating new varieties of ARRA grapein its own vineyards in Greece.
Jupiter’s chief executive Mark Tweddle said: “We are proud to receive this wonderful title. It highlights that we are providing the highest possible quality products, which is testament to all the hard work of everyone at Jupiter who have helped to make 2018 such a great year for us so far.
