Importing, via airfreight, from the likes of Peru, Brazil, Mali, Senegal and Mexico, the importer - known as a prominent producer of avocado - anticipates its positive sales of mangoes to continue next year.

'We expect continued growth in the market during 2013 and with our proven marketing expertise we aim to consolidate our position and anticipate sales in excess of 1 million kgs across Europe, with France as our principle market,' said Izam Afkir, HL Hall's product manager of exotic fruits.
