Asia Fruit Logistica 2012

The organisers of Asia Fruit Logistica, the premier trade show for the region's fresh fruit and vegetable business, have announced that the event is extending its opening hours for 2013 to give visitors and exhibitors more time to do business.

Asia Fruit Logistica will return to AsiaWorld-Expo on 4-6 September next year, opening its doors from 10:00-17:00hrs daily, marking an extension of 40 per cent on previous editions.

The move comes in response to the ongoing growth in visitor numbers, and to requests from exhibitors for more time to capitalise on the unrivalled business opportunities the show offers, the organisers reported.

A record 5,722 visitors from 64 different countries attended Asia Fruit Logistica 2012, viewing 341 different exhibitors.

To accommodate the extended opening hours, Asiafruit Congress – Asia’s leading fresh produce conference event – will take place on 3 September 2013, the day before Asia Fruit Logistica opens its doors.

The full-day event will feature a packed programme of expert presentations, panel discussions and breakout workshops to give delegates an unparalleled insight into the latest trends and developments in Asia’s rapidly growing fresh produce vegetable business.

The conference will conclude in the evening with a joint official Asiafruit Congress and Asia Fruit Logistica cocktail reception, offering delegates a unique opportunity to network and do business before the exhibition opens.
