Delegates at the 2016 UK Fruit & Vegetable Congress – FPJ Live – will have the chance to hear from and put questions to bosses from some of the biggest companies in the business.
Tony Reynolds, managing director of leading catering supplier Reynolds, is the latest big name to join the speaker lineup. He will discuss trends in the foodservice market and the opportunities for building produce consumption.
Reynolds, which appeared at no. 9 in the FPJ Big 50 2016 with a turnover of £203.5m, is a major supplier to the UK restaurant trade. The company last month featured in BBC2 show Who’s the Boss?
He joins a lineup that also features Charlie Hicks, brand manager at £400m no. 1 ranked business Total Produce; Laurence Olins, chairman of no. 2 ranked £390m fruit giant Poupart; and James Truscott, managing director at £100m potato specialist Branston, which ranked no. 26 in the Big 50.
The flagship annual event, supported by headline sponsor NFU, takes place at The Belfry on 21 April, with delegates invited to attend a free reception at the venue the night before.
An early-bird rate, which offers a 20 per cent discount on the full price, expires on 18 March. Tickets are selling fast, and delegates are urged to secure their place now at www.fpjconferences.com to avoid disappointment.
