Simon Pearson, founder and managing director of supply chain consultancy Simon Pearson and Associates, is among a high powered line-up of speakers already confirmed for the second edition of Cool Logistics Asia in September.
Renowned for his first class supply chain expertise from production to in-store replenishment, Pearson will appear in a panel discussion on the outlook for the Asian logistics trade in 2017.
Joining Pearson for the day-long event in Hong Kong will be Jan Koolen, managing director of Dutch firm UNIT45, who will be part of a session on modal split and transport connectivity in Asia.
Raul Saca, Maersk Line’s global head of reefer segment bananas and pineapple cargo, will present during a session on perishable product solutions and innovations.
The conference programme also includes sessions on changing perishable trade patterns and intra-Asia shipping.
Cool Logistics Asia aims to bring together the leading players in developing and investing in new cold supply chain concepts in China, India and other emerging markets in Asia. The event will take place on 7 September at the AsiaWorld-Expo Centre in Hong Kong, alongside Asia Fruit Logistica.
