FPJ’s roadshow of regional conferences is heading to Cambridge in the new year, where a high-quality line-up of speakers will discuss the major issues affecting the trade.

The FPJ Cambridge Conference will take place on 7 March at the stylish Belfry Hotel, where a lively and interactive event will feature a combination of challenging, informative speeches and debate.

Under the theme of ‘Standing Out’, speakers from across the supply chain will be on hand to give their view of what companies can do to get ahead and differentiate themselves from the crowd.

Speakers already confirmed include Tim O’Malley, managing director of Nationwide Produce and Clarke Willis, chief executive of Anglia Farmers, who will give their view of the sector and outline what it takes to innovate in the current environment.

Duncan Swift, a retail and supply chain specialist from Moore Stephens, will explain what the Groceries Market Review means to suppliers and what they should expect from the adjudicator, while Dominic Weaver from Red Communications will discuss how to get the balance between local and seasonal when it comes to marketing.

Richard Jones of Anglia Business Solutions will also shine a spotlight on how innovation is changing the trade from a technological standpoint.

Two interactive debates hosted by FPJ editor Michael Barker will allow delegates to put their questions to speakers and ensure the issues they want to discuss are aired in public.

Tickets are available to buy now at www.fpjconferences.com, with an early bird rate of just £50 currently on offer.

Barker said: “These events are both friendly and challenging, and allow delegates to get fully involved in the debate. We have a fantastic line-up of industry speakers confirmed, and watch this space for more big-name additions shortly.

“We’re really excited about bringing this conference to such a key producing region of the country and are looking forward to a great day.”
