The board of New Zealand fresh produce company Turners & Growers (T&G) has announced the appointment of Josef Krapf as a new director.
Krapf will serve on the board as a representative of T&G's majority shareholder, BayWa, which took control of the group earlier this year.
He has been a member of BayWa's executive board since 2002 and is currently responsible for its fruit division, as well as its business activities in the seeds, fertiliser, crop protection, foodstuff, grain and oilseed sectors.
Krapf holds a PhD in Agricultural Food Science and has spent his career in the agriculture and food industries.
