New Zealand fresh produce group Turners and Growers (T&G) has announced the appointment of board member Sir John Anderson to the position of deputy chairman, effective immediately.
Anderson was appointed to the board of T&G in April this year, and currently serves as an independent director.
'Sir John brings extensive governance experience to theposition and will continue to provide strategic guidance tothe Turners and Growers management,' said Klaus Lutz, board chairman and CEO of T&G owner BayWa.
'He has ledtransformational processes within a number of largecommercial organisations and his leadership is valued as thecompany moves forward with its new global direction,' he added.
