In Australia, Harvest FreshCuts has been handed the title of Woolworths Supplier of the Year 2008 for Fresh Produce at the retailer's annual Supplier of the Year function in Sydney.

The group was rewarded for its contribution to advancing Woolworths' business objectives, assessing excellence in supply chain management, product quality and safety, innovation and promotion.

'Our team's dedication to improving the day-to-day execution has contributed significantly to our performance,' said Harvest FreshCuts CEO Rob Robson. This means that the entire organisation is focusing on what really matters to our customers – filling their orders with top quality product.'

Harvest FreshCuts supplies the fresh and fresh prepared food markets with a range of produce including seedless watermelons, shepard avocados, Calypso mangoes and fresh-cut salads.
