Now is the time to get your entry in for a chance to win a coveted UK Fruit & Vegetable Award.

The awards are the only ones chosen by the industry itself, with FPJ subscribers voting on who will pick up this year's trophies.

There are plenty of categories to enter, ranging from those that recognise business excellence to those acknowledging innovation in areas such as packaging, growing and sustainability.

Individual categories put the focus on new faces and unsung heroes, while there is also a special category recognising the great charitable work undertaken by many companies.

The most recent winners include Branston, Vitacress, Tesco, Aldi, Nationwide Produce and many more.

The awards are open for entries until Friday 29 June, with the voting process taking place over the summer. Winners will be announced at the Awards Social at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 8 October, the eve of this year's FPJ Live.

It couldn't be easier to enter - all you need to do is submit a 250 word summary of your achievements, together with a photograph, at www.fpjlive.com/awards.

FPJ editor Michael Barker said: 'We've been delighted with the engagement from the industry in these new awards over the last two years, and we are really looking forward to hearing about the brilliant work that companies and individuals have been doing this year too.

'These awards are voted for by FPJ subscribers, so winners can justifiably claim to be true industry champions. It's so simple to enter and will only take a few minutues, so there's nothing to lose by taking part and being in with a shot at winning one of this year's trophies.'
