PMA A-NZ’s ‘Pick Right. Feel Bright!’ campaign has signed on as the official fruit sponsors of a number running festivals across Australian and New Zealand in 2016 and 2017.

Together with Fairfax Media, Pick Right. Feel Bright! will supply free fruit to runners at events in Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney over the coming months. The pair are also in the process of finalising a similar deal with running events in New Zealand in early 2017, with the programme set to reach an estimated 40,000 people across Australasia.

“With up to 10,000 runners participating in each event, Pick Right. Feel Bright! is contributing to consumer health while positively influencing their food choices for a brighter future,” Pick Right. Feel Bright! said in a statement.

Kicking off with the Australian Running Festival in Canberra this weekend (9 – 10 April), Freshmax and Costco Wholesale have donated a combined total of 5,000 bananas and apples to Pick Right. Feel Bright! for participants, while the campaign’s major supporter, Costa Group, is also lending its support.
