Fresh Produce India combines a non-stop business networking expo with a packed programme of talks, presentations and tastings. The event takes place at the Trident Hotel, Nariman Point – one of South Mumbai’s most elegant hotel spaces – on 16 April, followed by a day of curated tours exploring wholesale, distribution and retail on 17 April.

A top-level lineup of speakers shares insights on the key topics and trends shaping India’s fast-moving fresh produce business.

Fresh Produce India 2026 opens with an in-depth discussion on India’s changing consumer – and the new trends driving fresh fruit demand. The fresh produce landscape is evolving rapidly as consumers become more health-conscious, connected and experimental. What are the latest consumption trends? Which fruits are capturing consumer attention? And where are the opportunities for premium products? An expert panel discusses where the market is moving, and how to position products for success.

This year’s agenda also looks at how to build a fresh produce brand in India; spotlights the dynamic southern India market; discusses the new technologies and varieties transforming India’s domestic production; and explores the investments set to drive a boom in the nation’s exports. Plus, it features an expert-led session on food safety and certification, which outlines the changing regulatory landscape in India and looks at how modern food retailers and quick-commerce players are approaching the issue.
