The previous series took place in India, Vietnam, Thailand, and China, uniting 2,200-plus industry professionals for 80-plus hours of networking and expert insights from 90 leading speakers. GPE said this proven track record of fostering high-level business and dialogue sets a strong foundation for the upcoming tour.
Meet Ups 2026: deepening ties with Asia’s growth engines
The 2026 Meet Ups programme will further deepen engagement with high-potential markets.
Fresh Produce India kickstarts the 2026 Meet Up series in Mumbai on 16-17 April. Tailored to address the unique dynamics of one of the world’s fastest-expanding consumer markets, Fresh Produce India delivers actionable insights into India’s booming fresh produce sector, highlighting key growth opportunities for local and international players alike.
Following this, the flagship Southeast Asia Meet Up takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 18-19 May 2026. The Southeast Asia Meet Up is a cornerstone event for engaging key markets across the region, including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos and beyond, GPE said.
“As one of the world’s most dynamic fresh produce landscapes, South-East Asia’s potential is undeniable – and Thailand’s strategic location and robust infrastructure make it the ideal hub for connecting international participants to tap into regional growth opportunities,” said the release.
The Southeast Asia Meet Up is expected to welcome attendees from over 20 countries globally.
The strategic value of Asia Fruit Logistica’s Meet Up series is endorsed by leading global players.
“Building on the connections made at Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong this year, we look forward to leveraging this Southeast Asia Meet Up to transform our trade network into precise partnerships with origin sources,” said Allen Zeng, deputy director of brand at Goodfarmer Group’s Fruit Division. “This will allow us to foster direct and efficient relationships that strengthen our supply chain.”
GPE said these focused regional gatherings extend Asia Fruit Logistica’s global footprint by delivering localised market intelligence that complements the broad international scope of the main Hong Kong trade show.
“As the fresh produce industry continues to evolve, the 2026 Meet Ups provide targeted networking opportunities to facilitate deeper business connections in the sector’s most promising growth frontiers,” it said.
