Event scheduled to take place on October 28-29 in Lima to be postponed in view of a dynamically developing political situation

The inaugural Asia Fruit Logistica Peru Meet Up, originally scheduled for 28–29 October 2025 at the Swissotel in Lima, has been postponed by its organisers. In view of a dynamically developing political situation and resulting safety concerns for visiting attendees, organisers have decided to defer the event. New event dates will be announced at a later point in time.

David Axiotis, managing director of Global Produce Events (Hong Kong), the organiser of the Asia Fruit Logistica Peru Meet Up, shared: “With only a week away, the current situation in Lima has become too unpredictable for us to hold the Peru Meet Up as originally planned. Safety always being our highest priority, it is with a heavy heart that we have to take this decision now while allowing our registered attendees coming from more than 20 countries to reliably adjust their travel itineraries.

”The tremendous enthusiasm and support we have so far received for the Peru Meet Up underlines our ongoing commitment and the potential we see for Peru as a hub to exploring local business opportunities across the whole region. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and remain confident to hold the event in the near future.”

Registered participants will be contacted directly by the event team with further details. In case of any queries, registered attendees can reach the organising team by reaching out to info@gp-events.com.
