CHA will be hosting a stand with three other UK businesses
A group of British businesses will be exhibiting together at the upcoming Fruit Attraction show in Madrid.
Hosted by the Commercial Horticultural Association (CHA), the companies appearing under the British flag are AgriCoat NatureSeal, Mirius, Richardson’s Jersey Royals, and the CHA itself.
AgriCoat NatureSeal offers solutions for maintaining quality and extending shelf life in fruits and vegetables. That includes produce washes, based on organic acids, for cleaning and decontaminating fresh produce, and the NatureSeal range for preventing browning and drying out of prepared produce.
Mirius produces a range of high-performance cleaners, disinfectants, and water treatment solutions for horticulture.
Richardson’s Jersey Royals are grown using liquid seaweed, lifted at the optimal time for flavour, fresh water washed, coated with coir and packed into heat-sealed moisture-retaining kraft paper packaging.
The CHA is the British trade association for manufacturers and suppliers of plants, products and services to commercial horticultural growers, covering ornamentals and fresh produce.
THe CHA noted that Fruit Attraction attracts 2,200 companies from 150 countries, hosting 120,000 trade visitors over three days. “Fruit Attraction is a productive show for our exhibitors and is well placed at a strategically important time for the sector at the end of the season, as the industry looks forward to the following year,” said David McAllister, event manager for the CHA.
