Due to continued growth, the company is looking to recruit a dynamic and commercially driven sales and marketing manager to join its team.
The role
This is a varied and hands-on role combining sales development, supplier negotiation, and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening existing partnerships while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure best value, quality, and service levels
- Building, maintaining, and strengthening long-term relationships with existing customers
- Identifying and developing new customers and market opportunities
- Supporting business growth strategies and sales targets
- Representing the company at industry events, client visits, and trade shows
- Working closely with production and operational teams to align supply with customer demand
- Assisting with marketing initiatives and brand development
The ideal candidate
- Proven experience in fresh produce, horticulture or food supply chain sales, marketing, or account management is essential
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Confident managing and developing client relationships
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel for client and supplier visits
