New crop of frightening fresh produce unleashed on Morrisons’ Market Street

Morrisons’ new Halloween campaign has transformed classic fruit and veg items into ‘Market Street Monsters’ to promote the retailer’s fresh-food and market counter section.
Developed in partnership with creative agency Leo UK, the campaign uses edited still-life photography to turn carrots into ‘Zombie Fingers’, avocados positioned as ‘Monster Eyes’, alongside a red pepper being edited to look like a screaming face.
Beverely Lumb, marketing and advertising director at Morrisons, said: “This Halloween, we wanted to give customers proper value at Morrisons by bringing together fresh produce, great prices and a little seasonal fun.
“The campaign turns everyday ingredients into memorable Halloween characters while keeping value front and centre,” she added.
The outdoor campaign runs across the UK for two weeks until 31 October.
Kimberley Gill, creative director, Leo UK, added: “Halloween is full of familiar monsters, so we created ours from something even more familiar: the fresh produce in a Morrisons shop.
“By combining simple visuals with unmistakable price messaging, the work makes everyday value feel playful and timely.”
