It follows the company’s launch of Nanna Tate Baby Potatoes in May, which were described as ‘super speedy to prep and cook from scratch’.

The ready-to-cook Buttery Tates can be microwaved in the pouch in seven and a half minutes, and retail at £1.75 for 400g, with each pack serving two.

They come in two flavour options: ‘Herbilicious’, a parsley and mint infused dressing with salted butter, or ‘Garlic-tastic’, a garlic and herb infused dressing and garlic butter.

The company said they use the best varieties of baby potatoes to ensure Buttery Tates are ‘tender, tasty and just the right size’.

The Nanna Tate team said in a statement: “Buttery Tates marks a significant step for the brand, as it’s our first product launch which has introduced new flavour profiles in a fun and convenient format to give customers more versatility.

“Whether as a side dish or the star of the plate, we’re seeing growing demand for products infused with more flavours and we’re confident our Buttery Tates bring that unforgettable taste adventure,” they added.

The full Nanna Tate range comprises its fresh potatoes and prepared products including Seriously Crispy Chips, Super Crunch Roasties, Super Scrumptious Mash, Yummy Cheesy Mash Bake and Baby Potatoes.
