A leading agricultural and horticultural supply company has added a new face to its management team.

Stewart Woodhead has been appointed business development manager for Interfarm UK, which supplies products to distributors throughout the country.

“We are delighted that Stewart is joining us at such an exciting time. Stewart is a well-qualified, highly experienced and technically competent manager who has enjoyed a successful career in sales and technical with a leading crop protection company,” says Interfarm’s managing director John Martin.

“In particular we welcome his wide experience and expertise and we are sure he will add significantly to our continuing success,”

Woodhead has fifteen years experience working in the agrochemical industry in the UK. After gaining a BSc (Hons) in Ecology and Agricultural Biology from the University of Hertfordshire, he started his career with BASF in its research and development centre as a development agronomist, focusing on European and UK registration trials.

“I am delighted to be joining Interfarm UK and see a bright future for the business,” says Woodhead.

“There is a lot happening in the company, not least of which is an exciting pipeline of products as a consequence of our close affiliation with Sumitomo Chemical Company.
