Egyptian produce exporter Daltex reports that its markets are expanding beyond the UK and other countries in Europe to include north African neighbours such as Tunisia. According to the company's Hany Rassem, production across most lines is increasing, including potatoes. 'We start by the end of December and can continue until June,' he said. 'We have varieties for export markets and local markets such as Nicola, Innova and Sponta. We also trial new varieties.'
