Department store group Allders has struck the deal with Tesco whereby its customers can earn Tesco Clubcard points on goods purchased in all 44 Allders stores nation-wide.

For every £1 spent in Allders, shoppers can earn one Clubcard point from November 18.

The arrangement ties Allders and Tesco into an exclusivity deal whereby the department store is the only shop of its type to take part in the Clubcard scheme.

The move comes after Sainsbury's launched its joint loyalty scheme with Debenhams, BP and Barclaycard last month.
