The four-day event includes a HACCP workshop on June 24-25 before the congress proper on June 26-27 in El Chipe, Piura, Peru.

A line-up of international speakers has been secured for the event, which will cover pre- and post-harvest themes as well as logistics and perspectives from other key mango-growing countries in the region: Ecuador, Brazil and Mexico.

There will also be sessions given by the import industries in the US and the EU as well as final panel session for a joint mango export strategy encompassing Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru.
