Fresh produce search engine hairyape has registered its 5,000th supplier company on www.hairyape.info
Over the last 5 years the database has accumulated more than 21,000 products and services from 130 countries.
"Approximately 70 new companies register as suppliers each month and over 100 register as searchers," said hairyape md Martin Clifford. "Around 1000 searches are made for products and services each week.
But hairyape is not stopping there. "We are currently in consultation with navatec.com online business services to review and evaluate a range of systems options for adding traceability, voice-over-internet-protocol and other useful provisions to the hairyape site." said Clifford. "The traceability will be server based, extremely simple to operate and at a very competitive price. These will hopefully be operational soon."
