Baby aubergines arrive at Tesco

Speciality baby aubergines will be appearing as a guest line in selected Tesco stores this summer.

Exclusively produced by fruit and vegetable specialist The Greenery, each mixed pack, pictured, comes with a variety of baby aubergines and will form part of the Tesco Finest range.

The aubergines are an exotic variety ideal for use in Asian dishes such as curries and stir fries.

Will Ison, commercial manager at Greenery UK, said: “We are always looking for different varieties of fruit and vegetables which we can offer our customers. There is a real demand from consumers for fruit and vegetables that are a little different from the norm, and we are confident that the baby aubergines will meet their tastes.”
