Former Elsoms Seeds account manager Chris Marrow has joined Sakata UK to replace Dave Samuels who has been promoted within the business.
Marrow will take on the role of territory manager, as Samuels moves into a European product management role within Sakata EMEA.
Managing director Stuart Cox said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to Sakata UK, Chris brings a wealth of experience gained within the seed technology industry which combined with our already experienced and dedicated team will further strengthen the development of Sakata varieties across the UK and Ireland.
“Dave has done a great job over the past three years significantly developing business and relationships which Chris will now take over. Dave will continue to work closely with his colleagues at Sakata UK as much of the early varietal development work for his crops (Red beet, Swiss Chard, Spinach) will take place in the UK.'
