Brazilian brand Sambazon has won its first major UK listing for its frozen açaí offering with Tesco.
In store since last week, the Original BlendAçai comes in four-packs of 100g pouches and is being sold alongside frozen fruit in 388 Tesco stores. The puree packs are also available to buy online via Tesco's website.
It is not the brand's first appearance in the UK, as its 'bowl machine' is currently situated at Whole Foods Market at Kensington and Piccadilly Circus as part of a drive into foodservice.

'We’ve seen açaí become a staple across the Americas and with fantastic health benefits, it’s the perfect product to complement our own-label range. We have partnered with Sambazon to ensure we offer customers the highest quality açaí and be the first retailer in the UK to sell Sambazon Açaí as an easy frozen solution.”
