A Kent ladies rugby team has renamed itself the Tonbridge Juddians Pink Ladies following its sponsorship by the apple brand.
As part of the tie-up, the team has received new kit in the Pink Lady pink colour, and posed in Christmas jumpers to match Pink Lady apple cosies in a photo promotion before a recent home game.
Pink Lady festive apple cosies will be free with 1kg bags of apples, exclusively to Asda shoppers from 5 to 18 December.
Maxime Delacour, assistant marketing manager at Coregeo, said: “It’s so exciting to see the Tonbridge Juddians Pink Ladies doing so well, they’re doing Pink Lady proud and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way.”
The team, located in Tonbridge close to Pink Lady’s head office in nearby Wateringbury, is celebrating a strong end to the year after reaching the final 16 of the national cup.
