Managing director of potato supplier Nene Potatoes Paul Shepherd is stepping down after 15 years in the position.
Shepherd, who is leaving to pursue interests outside the potato industry, will remain with the company until 5 April 2018 to ensure a smooth transition. His successor has not been announced.
Chairman David Hoyles said Shepherd has helped shape the business to become “the well respected, successful potato marketing organisation that it is today”.
“We recognise and thank Paul for the dedication, skills and thought processes that he has brought to the business, and wish him well and success in his new personal ventures,” he said.
