Representatives from both countries come together for two market launch events

On behalf of Berries Australia, the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) hosted two events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the official market access of Australian blueberries into Vietnam. The events helped highlight Australia’s premium blueberry and its flavour, quality, and impressive health benefits.
The celebration kicked off in Hanoi on 9 December as representatives from both governments, leading Australian and Vietnamese horticulture companies, retailers and key partners gathered to commemorate the milestone.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about Australia’s expanding blueberry industry, new varieties, and the cutting-edge technologies transforming how blueberries are grown, sorted, and delivered to market. Representatives from leading Australian companies were introduced, allowing local partners to hear directly from the growers and exporters.
Speaking at the event, Berries Australia CEO Rachel Mackenzie said the Australian blueberry industry was excited by the opportunity to share its world-class blueberries with Vietnamese consumers and looked forward to developing strong commercial relationships with Vietnamese importers and retailers.
