Envy was definitely on the menu for the smart-set admiring models and must-have outfits at Elle Fashion Week in Thailand earlier this month.

The proprietary apple variety, owned and marketed by T&G Global, refreshed fashionistas at the high-profile event in Bangkok for the second year running, and was in the spotlight – in fresh and pastry form – during almost every show, the New Zealand produce firm said.

Commenting on Envy’s second stint as Elle Fashion Week Thailand's ‘official apple’, T&G regional manager South-East Asia Victor Anderson said: “We have a very good relationship with ELLE Thailand and really enjoy being a part of Elle Fashion Week. It’s a great opportunity for us to showcase our fashionable apple among an equally fashionable set.”

“Taking part in prestigious occasions like Elle Fashion Week also enables us to step-up awareness of Envy in the Thai market and highlight its position as a premium everyday apple experience, part of a fashionable, healthy lifestyle,” he added.

Victor said that Envy sales in Thailand have grown steadily over the last three years, alongside the move to year-round supply from New Zealand and the US.

“There are exciting new developments coming for Envy in Thailand as we work closely with retailers and focus on delivering the best apple we can to our customers,” he said.

Envy is a proprietary Braeburn, Royal Gala cross, grown by T&G Global licensed growers in New Zealand, Chile and the US.
