New platform enables pre-scheduled meetings between global buyers and exhibitors

Asia Fruit Logistica has launched FreshMatch, a new matchmaking platform that – for the first time – allows registered buyers to browse participating exhibitors, identify relevant suppliers, and pre-schedule face-to-face meetings ahead of the show, which takes place on 2–4 September 2026 at AsiaWorld Expo in Hong Kong.

The 19th edition is expected to bring together over 14,000 trade visitors and 760 exhibitors from across the global fresh produce supply chain, including more than 5,000 buyers – ranging from importers and wholesalers to food processors, Horeca professionals, and retailers – representing over 75 countries and regions spanning Greater China, South-East Asia, Japan, Korea, India, Australia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, alongside exhibitors from more than 30 nations – reinforcing the event’s position as Asia’s leading business platform for fresh produce trade.

Eligible buyers are invited to apply for the Buyer Program via the Asia Fruit Logistica website.

How FreshMatch works

Finding the right business partners at a major trade exhibition can be challenging. FreshMatch simplifies the sourcing process by helping buyers identify relevant exhibitors based on their sourcing requirements. Through the platform, buyers can explore company profiles, discover suppliers and products, and request meetings directly with exhibitors before the exhibition opens.

By connecting buyers and exhibitors ahead of the event, FreshMatch helps facilitate more focused business discussions and stronger commercial opportunities. Buyers can make the most of their time at Asia Fruit Logistica by engaging with relevant suppliers, while exhibitors gain greater visibility among buyers actively seeking new products and sourcing partners.

As of 24 June, FreshMatch has generated strong interest from participants preparing for Asia Fruit Logistica 2026. Buyers are invited to register and complete their profiles in advance. Once approved, they will gain exclusive access to scheduling one-on-one meetings with participating suppliers.

Qualified buyers receive complimentary exhibition access and FreshMatch benefits

Qualified buyers receive a complimentary three-day pass to Asia Fruit Logistica 2026, full access to the FreshMatch matchmaking platform, and entry to all sessions at the Asiafruit Knowledge Centre.

Participation in the Buyer Program is subject to verification. Applicants are required to submit a buyer profile and sourcing details for review prior to approval. Early registration is strongly encouraged, as meeting slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Asia Fruit Logistica FreshMatch system has drawn strong interest from importers, retailers, distributors and sourcing professionals across the region.
